Daylle Deanna Schwartz is a writer, speaker, music industry consultant and personal growth counselor. Her best-selling The Real Deal: How to Get Signed to a Record Label and Start & Run Your Own Record Label are published by Billboard Books. I Don't Need a Record Deal! Survival Guide for the Indie Music Revolution is Daylle's latest. Daylle is regularly quoted in national consumer magazines and on TV and radio as an expert based on her popular books, All Men Are Jerks until Proven Otherwise and How to Please a Woman In & Out of Bed. She speaks for colleges, organizations, and corporations.

Daylle doesn't let obstacles stop her. While teaching school in New York City, she responded to a dare by students who said a white woman couldn't rap. Daylle set out to prove them wrong because she didn't want them to grow up believing that stereotypes could stop them. When industry people ripped her off, Daylle's students encouraged her to get revenge and offered to do nasty things to them for her. Instead, she taught them another lesson - how to use the energy behind anger to do something positive. Daylle opened Revenge Productions and then Revenge Records, her positive revenge. Nicknamed "the rappin' teach," she successfully ran the label for 5 years. She then took what she learned and began educating musicians on how to have the best chance at a satisfying career.

Daylle is one of the few women to have reached her respected level in guiding musicians. She is often the only female speaker at a music conference and receives many letters from women who consider her a role model. Daylle saw a big need for quality education about the music industry and began teaching her private workshops in 1990. They're attended by people from around the country and the world. Daylle also does consulting for musicians and independent record labels.

Daylle is a recovering doormat. As she slowly learned to value herself, Daylle made a vow to never let any "Shoulds and Can'ts" stop her from pursuing her passions. Developing radiant self-esteem   empowered her to meet the challenges of a multi-faceted career, and win. Seeing a need for lessons that helped her, Daylle began teaching classes and counseling people to help them become empowered. Curtis Brown, LTD represents her   books. Daylle is currently writing Nice Girls on Top. Her music books have a huge international market. Her relationship books have been translated into ten languages.

Project Self-Empowerment is Daylle's next venture. She is currently raising funds to self-publish her book, How Do I Love Me? Let Me Count the Ways (for both women and men), which she is donating. While the book will be sold in stores, they will also be given away for free in colleges, battered women's shelters, churches, eating disorders clinics, and more. All money raised from book sales will go back into the project. Daylle is doing this to show thanks for all of her blessings. She's was given an opportunity to turn her life around and wants to help others do the same.
